Morning Pages

Woah! That was interesting. I’m so happy I did that.

That’s how I felt right after I did my first morning pages. I had a breakthrough in terms of what I was thinking. Every day I’ve gained new insights from writing morning pages. It’s been life changing for me so far.

The reason I want to continue doing this is that I want to prioritize progress in my life. Morning pages is one of the best ways to do that. What better way to move your life forward then to explore your mind, your thoughts, and your feelings. You get to decide what you think about that day.

Many people live their lives the same way they lived it the day before. We typically continue doing whatever we were doing the previous day. This is a recipe for not improving.

The main path to progress is change. We don’t know what we should change in our lives until we reflect. Creating space to do that every morning, when your mind is the freshest and most alert, has an enormously positive domino effect in your life.

You start reflecting about what’s important to you and you almost always make some sort of progress on that topic. It amazingly works and is something that I will continue doing.
